Better. Faster. Stronger. Smarter.
Cpt. Travis McCoy is a fifth generation super-soldier.
As ARISTOTLE V he enjoys the same posthuman physical traits as his predecessors with some margin of deviation from the original template. These powers include optimal biological performance in virtually any conditions, superior athletic benchmarks, improved mental and sensory processing as well as inexhaustible stamina reserves.
On a cellular level, the McCoy aging process comes to an absolute crawl after approaching the range of 20-25 years. Although they tend to reach full physical maturity at around 16-17 years of age. Their aging process endows them with a unnaturally long lifespan, but not agelessness. At least one prior holder of the mantle died of old age.
ARISTOTLE V experiences several alterations to the conventional powerset due to a dual superpowered heritage. Most notably, he is not as dextrous as his predecessors with the majority of his fine motor skillset migrating over to his younger brother. This is not to say that he isn't superhumanly agile, but his human eye-hand coordination can be an obstacle when wielding his eponymous shield.
On the other hand, V. has an edge over his predecessors exactly thanks to the mixed nature of his powerpool, one that stems from his mother's side whose speedster origin allows V. to enjoy limited access to the source of superhuman speed. Albeit, admittedly only in short bursts.
Furthermore, befitting his nickname, V. is inhumanly resilient to physical trauma as his reinforcced body will simply continue operating at peak capacity so long as he is alive. While he isn't bulletproof, this monstrous endurance allows him to effectively survive well past what would be mortal wounds to an unaugmented individual. He can throw punches hard enough that they’d break his hand, mangle his joints and tear his muscles, and still march on.
It is unknown whether McCoy is immune or indifferent to such pain.
To cope with this abuse, his also secretes equally impressive morphallactic and epimorphic agents that intelligently deal with any damage his body would suffer. This same chemistry also renders his organism inhospitable to most viruses and bacteria. SARS-derived organisms burn up in his body 5 hours after exposure.
