Another young woman awaited him in the executive car. She wasn't wearing any sort of uniform or costume; only a pair of metal handwraps distinguished her from any other member of the crowd. Well, those, and her musculature. Her first words? Both of us match.

Experience narrowed his eyes. What could that mean?

Almost in answer to his unspoken question, the woman's veins began to emanate light. Under her very skin, he saw them change and illuminate, signifying some kind of supernatural talent. Of what sort, he could not tell...but he had a feeling it was in the strength department.

That feeling was confirmed when her leap out of the hole he'd made rattled the entire car, sending her rocketing upwards at him with a fist outstretched. He pulled his head back on instinct, and her knuckles scraped the underside of his gleaming chin, casting sparks as they did so.

KLANG.

He leaned back to dodge away from the roundhouse, the deadly foot passing within inches of his head. With her copied strength, there was a decent chance he could be launched right off the train...and if it passed into a tunnel before he could board again, they might escape. If he was going to keep these people safe, he couldn't afford to let that happen. Part of him wondered how the vigilante he left behind on the train would dispatch hypnotized civilians - would she be gentle with them, or retreat, or find some other way to avoid hurting them?

He wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt, but optimistic wasn't the same thing as naive.

Focus, T.E!

RATATATATATTA.

"Hk-!" he shouted instinctively, pain signals twisting up his back and into his mecha-mind. His body processed pain in an uncanny way - due to its advanced roboticism, trauma could not cause him to stop functioning. For the duration of his transformations, he was in effect a highly advanced machine in the shape of a man, which meant that pain served the refined purpose of alerting him to danger without impeding his movements nearly as much as they would a normal being. So, it hurt, but he wasn't disposed of - as virtually any other super in his current position would be.

It sounded like rifle fire, but it was actually someone pounding his back with a series of lethal punches. Superhuman strength and speed, by the look of it, with deadly precision. Usually his senses would pick up on someone creeping up behind him, but he must've been distracted...

Almost immediately, there was an arm around his neck, constricting him with a strength all too familiar. His leg was locked, too, meaning he couldn't move without toppling over.

Only two things kept him in the fight in that moment: his ability to go utterly without air, and his unimpeachable sense of duty to the people in this train.

They had his strength, sure. They had him outnumbered. They probably even had him out-skilled.

But some things, he knew, can't be mimicked. One is righteousness. The other is his metal musculature, which they both distinctly lacked.

What helped him sustain his great heroic exploits?

MUSCLE MACHINES.

The person clinging to his back didn't have them. That meant she was vulnerable to something he wasn't.

Never thought this move would come in handy-!

At the last possible moment, with danger literally clutching his neck and threatening his life, he let himself drop a little closer to the ground, charging up his energy. Then, he suddenly launched into a stationary spin, pushing off against the ground with one foot and relying on his excessive strength and balance to keep him from succumbing to the choke. Like a top, he began to spin on one foot, at speeds too fast to even comprehend. What's more, the magnetic force he employed would use the slight magnetic field of the train's metal to accelerate him even faster, keeping him latched to the roof through the tip of his boot.

This was the second of his special techniques to be revealed: THE TOTAL SPIN!

But as he did so, if the woman on his back remained latched there, she'd soon find that centrifugal force had something to say to her. He wasn't looking to throw her off his back, and thus off the train; instead, he brought his hand up around her grappling arm, intent on holding her there while the intense G-forces wreaked havoc on her equilibrium. For while they might have copied his external strength and durability, their internal nature was a whole different ballgame.

The faster he spun, the more damage would be done to her brain. How? Her blood would be in her feet. And if she didn't let go soon, T.E. might as well be achieving liftoff - the Gleaming Gladiator was little more than a silver blur!

".....Wait a minute. He's a good guy?"]

"Dang. Those ninjas are petty stylish too."

"Man I just wanna go home."

The people peered onto the pair with a combination of confusion, curiosity and likely disgust. As she reached up to wrap his arms around him. A moment of vulnerability as little else seemed to exist for that moment. Someone probably could just shot him in the head and removed his mental faculties. Every alarm should be going off in his head that this was not right. That he could not afford to allow his guard to go down. His muscles relaxed, his eyes closed and he heard Sitri's heartbeat alone. The sword in his hand held but resting flat upon the ground. At ease. The others could say as they wish. Think as they wish. So long as what they thought did not maks them into monsters.

He wraps on arm around her, leaning forward he hunches down to meet her. The body relaxes almost too much. Feeling too comfortable in her arms. He leans onto her shoulder.

"You are crazy." He retorts. Sometimes, it terrified him just how little regard Sitri gave for her own life. From sparring with him despite the loss of her demonic powers to wandering head first into a brawl between a vampire and a superhuman. Yet he did not cave her head that day. She did not get struck by the steely skinned woman and reduced to a wet smear on the ground. And he did not drink her dry.

Miracle after miracle. Just how many do you have?

He sighs just in time to receive a prompt kiss upon the cheek. A minor shockwave of pleasant sensations went through him. Already he could tell the kinds of things running through her head. But now was not the time for that. Aside from the fact that his mouth was filthy from lapping up the blood in the cabin -- there was one of two things he could be doing right now. Protecting her as was his original job was. And it seemed Sitri did not fail to remind him why he hunted. Why he had goals. Why he had a list.

As she let go, rationale returned. He ceased leaning on her. The man cracks something of a smile upon what was both a joke and a suggestion. This train was clear. And any opportunists among the passengers could be warded off by the gun she held. He pats the gun -- his hand resting over her own a moment.

"Please stay safe."

He stands upright, the sound of the sword's tip subtlety scraping along the ground as he rises heard. "Orange juice, right?"

Another smile at that inside joke. Two cracks. The popping of air between the vertabrae as he rolls his neck. Eyes forward.

Perhaps one would be damaged after such a brawl as that. But Septimus was one who grew as his enemies fell before him and allowed him to drink. That was always how it worked during the war. Night time was his time to cut down the armies set forth before him. The more canon fodder they sent the worse it got. And then the others would cover for him as the day approached and came.

The woman he faced was not canon fodder. But she bled like a pig and passed out. And her strength would become his own.

The man behind him in plain clothes addressed him. "Yes. Let's go." He said simply. The sooner they move the better.

He walked forward and the crowd parted around him as they all began to fill up the train evenly. The front door opened and the noise of the wheels roared through the room. A single chain on each side stood between a passenger and falling off onto the rails. An unstable platform leading to the car in front of him.

He simply jumps, quickly grabbing the top of the ladder and yanks himself to the top.

Ah. Open air. Just like the old times.

There he sees a few fights already having it made it to the top. Ears twitch and even over the thunderous rails he can hear the mass of beating hearts. Hears yelling and screaming for the car just ahead. Smell the blood. It wasn't a blood bath. But something was amiss. Enhanced hearing lead to a rhythmic tune which now, ended.

Most prominently, a man in a spider-costume danced in front of him with a woman clad in all green. Shooting webs everywhere in an effort to stop the train. A noble effort. But it needed more. "I have a plan. Go to the front and try to work the emergency stop. Perhaps it will work in tandem with the webbing. I'll give you an opening past her. But you will be on your own after that."

He hoped the man understood the plan well enough. As it stood, there did still rest the one in l green and the metal cyclone at the end.

He moved far too quickly for questions.

Image

The world came to a crawl. He devoured the distance in less then a moment. Blade poised defensively to eat one of her explosive hits as his palm would go out to strike hard enough to go through a brick wall. Whether or not it broke her spine or collided with her abdomen to launch her a car over did not seem to matter to him. The only reason he hadn't sought to slice her in half was that he didn't want to eat a hit that loud right away.

"You seem as though you could use a new dance partner." Banter was easier when one didn't have to breath.

”If you two are staying, watch out for each other, alright?” Garrick followed Septimus closely, leaving the two women to their fate. They were more competent and more capable than any of the fearful citizens around. While he didn’t want to leave them to their own devices, they were the best they had at defending anyone forced to hide out in here from the violence further up the train.

If I’m going to leap into all of this, I’m going to need to be careful.

His hand pulled a yellow bandana from out of his back pocket. From the ground, he retrieved his worn hoodie and put both pieces of clothing on, bandana around his mouth and lips and his hood now over his head. Far from the perfect disguise but it did wonders to hide who he was while he was busy dealing with subsonic ninjas. Novak would approve.

For the first time since this entire thing started, Garrick and Septimus reached another fight between a spider-themed hero and a woman wearing green. The sight wasn’t enough to give pause to either of the experienced fighters as the paler of the two got to giving out orders almost immediately. Ones Garrick agreed with.

”Got i-”

Septimus sped off as if he were a bullet leaving Garrick’s words to plummet off the side of the train, soon left in the dust. He nodded, more to himself than anyone else considering Septimus was already gone. With his sword-wielding ally engaging the woman, Garrick moved forward in an attempt to pass by the two combatants. By using peripherals, immediate engagement, and near soundless footsteps, he’d try to completely maneuver out of the way of the rooftop rumble, goal fixated on that store.

Unless he was stopped, Garrick would make his way to the front of the train.

As Lily stood face to face with the violet ninja, she chuckled before spitting out a small amount of blood off to the side. "You know, this anti-hero bullshit really ain't getting to me. I'm not even really a vigilante. I'm as likely to beat the shit out of these guys as you are." She shifted her stance, moving from a relaxed form to one that was prepared to react as the new dance began. Unlike the previous one, which had been the waves of an ocean crashing on her, this was like a river, swift and dangerous, yet elegant.

As Vocal leapt towards Lily, the air in her left hand shimmered with a violet hue, forming a ghostly blade. It moved like a conductor's baton as Vocal rushed forward, bringing up her katana for a quick slash. Lily shifted her weight backwards and pushed her feet against the ground, sending her back along the train car, mostly out of the way of the attack. The tip of the blade managed to nick her flesh as she moved backwards. As the screech hit her ears, however, the scratch expanded suddenly. What had been a small inch-long slice suddenly doubled in size and depth, sending searing pain through Lily's arm. She gritted her teeth and focused, just barely managing to dart out of the way as the blade sliced through the back of her leg, thankfully missing her hamstring.

The violet blade jabbed towards her side in a flash, two quick strikes. The first she managed to evade, but the Lotus appeared to anticipate her moves, meaning she couldn't dodge the second one. Instead, a spectral arm appeared and intercepted it, the blade sinking all the way in. An explosion of pain wracked Lily as it felt as though her arm and just been blown apart from within. She let out a shriek as she tumbled away, desperate to gain space from this foe. She made it to the other end of the car, her lungs clawing for breath as her chest heaved. This bitch was a whole new level of powerful. That old man must have been the weakest of the Lotus. Think Lily, think!. Her left arm felt numb, and she experimentally flexed her fingers. They were slow to respond, but they did. Taking a deep breath, she tried to focus as a blue arm flickered into place around it, responding quicker than her real one. A staff flickered to life in her other hand. Lily locked eyes with the Lotus, taking a deep breath.

"Alright, bitch. Let's fucking dance."

Lily ran forward, gripping the staff in both hands before slamming it into the ground, using momentum and her own strength to launch herself up and forward into a flying kick, directed straight at Vocal's chest. Was it an obvious move? Yes. Was it easy to avoid? Yes. Was that what Lily was banking on? Abso-fucking-lutely. As she casually sidestepped the attack, Lily couldn't help but grin as she soared past, landing behind Vocal in a 3 point stance. Her right leg snapped backward, her foot attempting to connect with the back of Vocal's knee. She twisted herself up and around, aiming for a quick strike with her left elbow into the back of Vocal's head and a kidney punch with her right before darting backwards, dancing out of harm's way.

NYC Subway, Last Train Of The Evening

Natasha returned to the back of the train, the recruited members taken and others just looking on in a mixture of panic and confusion. They expected violence of course to come to them, none did though they were simply inconsequential. Naturally the world sometimes was just to set in their ways and dependency on how things were. If they wanted to lean on heroes then so be it. Indifferent the umbrella toting Lotus ventured into the next car that being eight.

In the distance in a blur of speed and teleportation two fought. "Come in to your own and be like them. All it takes is taking my hand." This fight hadn't gotten to a point of brutality just yet to shake the interest. They didn't see death and pain just marvels of martial prowess. The train passengers largely huddled around the umbrella because of this accepting of the possibilities. "Excuse me, perhaps you two would like to take it up top with the rest of them?" The monitors were running out of fights to show telling Natasha where fights were. Meaning now was ideal to just clear things out before this all got out of hand. She also knew much as Nothing hated her, he craved the conflict. A pop and the gathering disappears.

The Return of Nothing

He was a bit banged up and bruised from the extended brawl with the teleporter. Would of liked to just reside there as well until a climactic conclusion was met. However that wasn't loyally doing the job of his, leading him to leaping out one of the shattered glass windows. A leg kicks off a support beam they passed by, barely a second had gone by before it was passed but at this particular time Nothing was swifter than any wind. He found himself soon then planted on the roof of the car.

A dull arena to him, only given a unique feel by the backdrop of the city at night. A rather one dimensional plane to fight on, but he supposed it also would lend itself to what came next. Time was a slow crawl at the moment, he didn't know if Orph would continue to face him but for now Nothing was able to react to teleportation. A speedster hard to match, and off in the distance he could see someone dressed in a dark garb. A sort of urban shinobi, though the apearence looked more like a man to fight for a lost sandwich then a cause.

Might have been speculation on his part, ideals of the suit wearing Yakuza or a classic looking assassin the urban wear was just a disgust to Nothing. Much of who he was he saw scrubbed away by joining this faction of ninjas. He saw in them a frequent divide from the look though that further disgruntled his opinions of the cult. Loyal to a fault though his feet began to fall. Likely to most he would be little beyond a blur of dark robes easily lost to the night life. Just a shadow on the winds.

At speeds most eyes wouldn't so much as perceive the sword of his would seek to thrust into the back of the urban ronin. To cleave through the lower back and exit out the stomach in a move that when pulled away wished to spill guts onto the chrome ceiling of a train car. With speed still lingering for the Lotus though he continued an open palm would come in at an angle that long after it was performed would emit a sonic boom to hear. The hand of Nothing seeming almost more like a blade in its sudden chop. If the teleporting foe wasn't joining them then speed would soon decrease to match the current foe. Until then though the man with a sword meant to cleave through anything and rival any speed would look to use the time of amplified speed to his advantage.

Car "Six" Baba Yaga

Lana didn't have time to even see just how efficient she was at snuffing out the spider before someone rushed to get in the way. The vampire who had been the leading factor in stoping Amadi. Of course the Baba Yaga was mostly a bit disappointed in the fight. She had hoped the questionable hired gun or the urban ronin would have attacked the opening that was a near missing arm. Striking into the would might have secured the kill. Amadi didn't deserve to die Lana felt but she wanted to know they were facing predators. Which made the reptile smile as her punch was caught, an explosion going off along the blade but not swaying the opponent once so ever.

Analysis of the opponent he was a bit faster than her, might be able to react to in time but certainly needed to focus on him to do so. Given that he could brawl with the Shattered Lotus he also was stronger than her, she would need to let Pestel or Mortar catch those attacks if she wanted to survive them. Given the show not so long ago he might be weakened, but could also bounce right back with blood. Certainly not a easy fight, but that thrilled her. Granted she wasn't going to show that excitement, the Russian soldier didn't show much emotion usually stoic unless seeking to be deceptive.

The right hand of the Baba Yaga moved to snag the strike coming at her. The spiderwebs from the spider she looked to mix with her strength and wall climbing stickiness to try and keep it in place. This would be done as her foot came up armed with a sort of shin guard and boot of unique design, given his sense of smell he might be able to tell the armor seemed made of bone. What was important though was that with Pestel a kick from her could sheer metal, break down walls and so on. She would look to kick at around the elbow joint, a motion that might rip the arm off a person that she hoped would at least break the arm. This was to be followed by trying to yank the vampire down and into a punch.

As she had already shown her fists were like mortar strikes, devastating explosive payloads. This kind of balled hand would look to obliterate the jaw with impressive might and a explosion meant to demolish armor. The attack further aided by her unique reach. It was linear of course, her attack if it missed likely to reach back and blow up a sign. If dodged in a way that was more retreat then to a side though one might still be caught in the blast. "I'm more for a hunt, dancing is a different flower."

Car Five Vocal

"What wanted to earn a spot through violence than just agreeing?" Cadence inquired amongst attacks, there seemed plenty of hostility in the words. A drive to fight with plenty of animosity. Cadence though was rather intrigued by the performance before her. Something with more music to it then just the typical noble idiots fighting above. Most wanted an excuse for violence or thought because a train was hijacked it meant Lotus had to be injured. For all of that though the flowers hadn't harmed a soul until recently when music kind of had some assault Natasha back in car nine or moments ago perhaps when untrained were used as a weapon. Even there though it was the martial artist before Vocal that broke bones and bruised flesh nothing the violet vixen had done.

The katana came in barely cutting the arm but the unique properties of the attack aiding to make it so much worse. Visceral colors few in quantity but there spattering the wall. The second slice barely making any progress on the legs in the violent dance. First jab of the sonic blade passed through the air a chittering cry against the air before the second attempt, it was halted though by one of the radiant additional limbs. Curiously resulting in certainly an abundance of pain but preventing harm to the actual body. Damage to arms was there but it almost seemed like the arcane version was just better. Cadence would have been more curious and inquisitive of it all but there was only a breath between actions she had to be ready more for the counter offensive.

A vaulted kick came for the violet lotus, the sonic assassin simply stepping to the right and up onto a seat. Was a rather telegraphed move which had the ninja expecting it was to set up for another. However footing was difficult with all the unconscious bodies around, her stance was a bit weak because of this. Being on a seat the kick came more for her shin and at a side where the Lotus could take it but not where she could avoid it. The impact had her footing jeprodized as she began to fall to the floor. Because of this she was getting up when the elbow was coming in leaving only open air to be found, there was though sound from such motions.

As the other arm came for a kidney shot the sound of the previous move and the current one would spike. A sonic boom escaping to try and rupture eardrums and knock the opponent back. This attack was serving two purposes though, while she hoped to wear down the opposition it also was going to shove bodies aside. Get them all huddled up in a pile towards the entrance and out of the way.

As for the jab Vocal moved her hand to intercept the fist coming for her kidney. Instead if it continued the fist would be met with Cadence's own and more importantly in the short time span even if avoiding direct contact it might fall into range of the violet blade singing as it stabbed forward. An effort made for knuckles to clash painful but bearable on its own. The action aided though by a instrument of suffering that would aim to vibrate the arm. Intending specifically to boil the blood in the arm. Meanwhile the katana would slice upwards reaching for the eyes attempting to carve them out. Even if it couldn't though the sound would be used to increase vibrations until it was also heat. Looking to boil the fluid around the eyes.

Car Four Wyvern

Wyvern was the title she liked to be called, a decent play on her family the gold and azure dragons who had raised her as a girl. Father and uncle who faught to let her live the least Lotus like life. They were dead though now, laid to rest on a isolated shore of Japan. Now the mind of the Lotus was set on revenge or expression of her pain by inflicting it on others. Ideally she would be off dissecting a child for killing her father, for now though the goals of the Lotus took precedence. She had been reading a novel before now waiting.

Alien Sucubus Volume Eight, Fall of A Romanced Empire. It well wasn't becoming of perhaps who she was supposed to be here. Until it was her time to fight however she enjoyed living in a fantasy world of questionable content and affection. That notion of intimacy she didn't think this life was going to give her. Wasn't all bad though, just being a Lotus meant there was a passion and talent for violence. She just before recently hoped for a life that was more than such. Clattering was heard on the roof and with it the blue haired killer in shades of black and gold got to her feet.

A pillar of flames would shoot through the ceiling looking to incinerate the spider. The metal turned glowing red and molten as a hole was made in the roof. The Wyvern leaped through the opening turning to face the spider she assumed wasn't dead from something so simple. Granted she hadn't known it was a spider until now as she stepped into the cool air. Her wrist would snap forward as a kunai was thrown, the gold blade looking to spear into the chest of the arachnid.

"You know you should really cover that up." The Wyvern would remark looking at the open wounds of burns and cuts sustained by previous attacks from Lana and perhaps even the more recent attacks that had been sent his way. While the right hand had the chained kunai, her free hand would be open briefly turn counter clockwise and then yank backwards. This motion would as such look to grab blood inside the body twist it to move more towards the wound. Then in a dangerous act of potential blood loss seak to rip that life essence out of the young spider.

Car One & Two Asuka and Haruka

Haruka after a violent bombardment found herself well into the hold she had gone for. One could hear the grown of metal perhaps see the dents in steel. It wasn't going to slow the figure down, quickly becoming clear that he was more like a machine than a natural foe. He started to do something and knowing well that she couldn't choke him out the hold seemed more peril then it was worth. Against human opposition it would likely assist in Asuka assaulting the man, here though the Noir Lotus knew she was only going to be in the way.

Her leg coiled removing from around him to resting against the back. Her grip loosens to be more of a perch then a hold. The speed almost threatens to send the flower flying off, her grip is better though than it would ever be on her own. It was hard to know how well the other Lotus might do in the various fights. Hopefully it would at least be long enough for Natasha's new plans to be a success but who could say. Of all the Lotus though there were the two in command, Haruka wouldn't accept herself to just be a discombobulated mess from g forces or thrown off a train.

With a sound like thunder the Lotus launched off the back of Total Experience, she soured well into the air, given his speed in the move and the matching strength. From several stories up the Lotus then came down, her body summersaulting as she attempted to keep the momentum in her downward trajectory. She would spring outward some near the end, descending into a axe kick that came down like a hurricane and with the physical striking power it was like a wrecking ball despite coming from just a foot. The intent being to of course hopefully crumple the head, but she figured at the least if it managed to land it would send him through the train. Hopefully placing him under the train to be ran over, as the ride continued having been previously commanded to not stop.

Asuka was hesitant to attack after the roundhouse. Her power let her bend reality to her will but it was exerting to use on her own body. Changes to the train and to the Noir Lotus these were nothing for her, didn't make her so much as flinch. The way her veins glowed though was a quite literal shinning example of how it could alternatively burn or harm her with to much use. She had been ready to attack more if the hold worked, she was even going in for a strike at the time. When he started spinning however this changed.

An outstretched fist smashed into the side of her brow, the pain sharp and making her ruining her ability to focus. She was fairly sure in another situation that might have taken her head clean off her shoulders, or left it such a mangled mess it may as well have been. Even now it had her mind rattled, a moment taken to shake off the impact. When training ones entire life to handle such a attack though there was something to be said for a hit being that efficient with a glance. Honestly if not for the strength letting her dig heels into the roof she also might have been launched off the train.

Haruka went airborn and as she started to come down Asuka kept at the ready. She would only move if he stopped spinning, not wishing to get close otherwise until she had a better grasp on the movement. Should the metalic muscles cease rotating however then the Distorted Lotus would rush in. Stance of hers dropping into a low kick aiming to knock out any footing and direct him closer to the edge of the train. Intent on assisting the other flower in knocking the opposition under the train.

"Figured it'd make more of an impact." Lily spat out, matching the venom that Vocal had given her. Besides, she was a bit too busy trying to keep herself alive than get all chatty. As Vocal sidestepped the attack, Lily swore to herself as she hopped on the seats instead of staying on the floor. The kick aimed for the knee instead hit the shin, but the impact was still solid, and Lily thought she heard a faint crack. That might have been wishful thinking though. As she spun around for the elbow to the back of the head, the only sound that met her ears was the faint whoosh of her own arm sailing through the air, missing her target entirely. Just then, the whoosh expanded in volume, creating a shockwave that blasted the bodies back, almost creating a fighting ring. Lily planted her feet to avoid moving and swung around for the kidney shot, eyes widening as she saw another fist coming to meet her own.

Lily gritted her teeth, her hand seeming to speed up slightly and leave a couple pale blue afterimages trailing behind it. Only too late did she notice the purple tint to the air around Vocal's fist. Her fist and the afterimages slammed into Vocal's in rapid succession, the violet blade lashing out and sending painful vibrations up the real arm and the three psychic versions. As her blood began to boil in her arm, bursting veins and ripping through skin, the pain began to overwhelm Lily. Panic flooded her eyes, adrenaline coursed through her veins, and rational thought left her mind. She saw the glint of the blade racing up to meet her face and she knew it was coming to take out her eyes. The animal part of her brain kicked in, seeking only self preservation, and she threw her ruined arm up in front of her face to shield it, only to be met with the sound of bone and sinew being split, followed by a meaty wet thud and the feeling of warmth being sprayed out of her significantly lighter arm.

Lily let out a scream of rage and pain and slumped to the floor, her face hitting the ground and blood slowly beginning to pool around her. Kira leaped out of her seat and raced over, but Lily threw her other arm up, a clear sign to stay back. She gritted her teeth, tears of pain rolling down her cheek and glared upwards. Her eyes met Vocal's and were filled with a burning hatred. Her ragged and rapid breathing slowed to a steady pace, and her stump came out from under her, blood still seeping from the severance point right at the elbow. She propped herself up, the stump seeming to hang in midair before a faint blue outline began to flicker into place, reaching from the elbow down to the ground. A deep cobalt arm replaced the one Lily had just lost, staunching the blood flow as Lily slowly brought herself to her feet, moving her fingers experimentally before summoning two escrima sticks to her hands and locking eyes with Vocal once more.

"You're a dead bitch."

Lily lashed out, realizing that the only way to fight against Vocal was to use her musical flow bullshit against her. She sent both escrima sticks hurtling towards Vocal's midsections, pivoting and twisting around to attempt two more hits: one across the back of the shoulders and one to the back of the head. She then darted away, slamming the sticks together to create a bo staff before moving forward once more, sweeping one end of the staff towards Vocal's feet to trip her up, then swinging the other end downward to slam into her.

The Total Tornado raged around the top of the car, hitting a perfect upright spin and approaching a level of rotations per minute that would make NASA's modular engineers blush. The pressure around his neck was growing unthinkable - he'd been put in danger before, but he hadn't expected today to be like then. A random train robbery had become something far more sinister. What the person in the lead car had said about skipping over people made him even more nervous about what was happening because it suggested that each car had some sort of superhuman in it.

Five others. This was a coordinated effort. Could he stop them all alone?

No time for that now!

The hold on his neck was released, and he was able to stop his spin. Sparks kicked up around his heel as he dug it into the car roof, the magnetic interaction between his muscled form and the train dragging him to a halt. Immune to dizziness of any sort, he was instantly ready to respond.

No sooner had he stopped then the first person went back on the attack. She aimed a low kick at his leg, one which threatened to crumble his stance. Even a robust figure like him couldn't take a concentrated blow like that and keep his footing; seeing her come towards him, he was forced to make a quick leap backwards, darting narrowly from the path of the kick. If he'd try to tank that, he knew, it'd be a fatal mistake.

Experience's eyes caught a shift in the light above him; he'd assumed his assailant had been hurled away from the train, but somehow, she'd launched herself into the air above him - !

Acting by instinct, the Titanium Titan raised his two arms in a cross-guard over his head, which was precisely where her foot aimed. His gleaming wrists formed a large metal X, and that was where Haruka's mighty kick struck.

Blast!

The shockwave from her attack rippled through his body and down into the roof of the train, instantly forcing him through it, and blowing another hole in the roof.

If I fall all the way through the bottom of the train, I'm finished - !

In the split second as he rocketed through the train car, Experience gritted his silver teeth and reached out with both arms, impelling the magnetic forces of the metal cabin he was in to interact with his mecha-muscled form. The train car whined, and the interior walls crumpled slightly - but he'd done it, catching himself in mid-air, where he briefly levitated! For the entire cabin was made of metal, and so he could suspend himself in it by exerting the same amount of repelling force outwards in all directions!

He dropped to the floor, back on his feet, as he looked up at the Lotuses.

I need to figure out what they're doing here. I'm completely in the dark.

A break from the fighting, just for a second - to gauge them, and come up with a new plan.

"The name's Total Experience. You're under arrest for grand larceny and assault. Why don't we make this quick? Your old man in the back car could use a doctor."

The woman called herself a hunter.

Ironic.

He felt her hand snag his in her grip. The combination of her arm's stickness meant that she indeed could ensnare the arm. And yet like an Python which coils around the foot of a grizzly bear -- she found herself unable to keep his arm in place as he yanked it back. His arm curling into an elbow, he seeks to slam it down into her chin. The objective to send the girl's feet stamping down with such force that the foot would make a boot shaped dent in the train if not broken outright.

A fist came for him. Too close for the sword to be raised.

The sound of an explosion as a punch was thrown.

Ringing in the left side of ear. Pieces of flesh and ash flying off. It was only an explosion and yet half his face was on fire before the rushing wind extinguished the flame. To the baseline eye -- Septimus' dodge looked not like a blur but as though he teleported one position to the other. And anyone would have said that one way or another, he would have dodged a gunshot. Yet it was not entirely dodged. And unlike the knife wounds, they showed no signs of healing right away.

A genuine pain and fury flooded his expression. His eyes squinting and then opening once more to reveal they were now blood red. His teeth gritted together as he hissed at the woman. Yet retaining enough of his brain to utilize to his human honed training.

His hand swirled over and underneath her own. And if she still held onto his forearm, the strength of Septimus' entire body would contest her wrist and break it. And with his raised sword, he would follow up with a hammer-like downward strike towards her collar with the metallic hilt of his titan slaying sword. Seeking break the bone and disable the shoulder.

"Then I hope you do not mind being quarry."

NYC Subway, Last Train Of The Evening

Natasha hesitated briefly, there was still possible threats in car seven. Two women who might take to firing guns the ninja's way. Because of this she unsheathed her sword brandishing it at an angle downward's to shield some of her face and heart. Her umbrella was opened before and she would begin to twirl it. Her silhouette blurring some as some effort of cover and masking where exactly she was. Stance lowering some so that the parasol masked as well the position of her feat.

"Simple offer, reach out to me to become a flower." There wasn't as many who wanted to reach out here having seen such violence. Still many would be drawn in however. They could be like the woman who tanked almost losing an arm or man repeatedly stabbed in the head. It was a offer drawing in the wandering mind of people. Was now just a question of if they'd reach out before possibilities might lash out.

Car "Six" Baba Yaga

Webs and her own grip wasn't going to surpass that strength of the vampire recently fed. She would hold enough though to assist the coming punch from her. This meant she was also susceptible to his counter measures. Rather than take it to the chin though her body rotates some as she leans back her foot coming up to meet the elbow. There's a sickly crack as the foot turns up touching the ankle. It snaps out of place and hangs a bit loose but it's not breaking in the dome of the Gila monster. Instead of being put through the train car her back just impacts the metal hard. But not before the punch came.

The vampire had evaded a direct hit, and yet his face showed burns and a horrendous sight. Fire wasn't just a mythical weakness then. Thankfully her fall meant evading the outstretched hand came easy. She'd rather stay low to the floor, besides she wasn't one for handholding with dead things.

A sword comes down at her, a downward and heavy swing aiming for the collar bone. The Baba Yaga waited for the last moment. It's close enough to cut strands of gold hair, it sinks into metal though. As it carves into metal the woman lashes out with a flurry of kicks. It's her broken foot but that doesn't stop her onslaught, of strikes looking to rain upon the body like machine guns fire. Each kick able to dent metal. Baba Yaga having rolled amongst the action seeking to guide the flurry from chest to behind the vampire.

Ththis though was just the cover for two punches using her unique reach to mask a strike in what otherwise looked like unrelated motion. One punch hidden in the fury went for the throat as the other went for the heart. Each of these punches not one coming from physical contact but an invisible like fist. They still though would go off like mortar shells, explosive and incindiery despite all comprehension.

Car Five Vocal

Vocal hadn't expected an arm to come off from the motion but it was rewarding all the same. Sounded like they were dealing with a recruit so that felt a bit much, a Lotus was a fanatic for combat though. The brutality was more a rush for them than anything else. A glowing hand simply replacing that lost, didn't fix the pain but it certainly was a resourceful action. Also spared the woman from being weighted down by the damage previously done to the limb.

The katana comes down to deflect the strikes aimed at the midsection. The foe looks to move behind the sonic flower and naturally Cadence seeks to turn to meet her, as it was never ideal to leave ones back exposed. The katana catches the swing for the head. Vocal really not wanting a KO but also just not wishing to risk exposure of her identity, some of them were nobodies to the world but that couldn't be said for the violet vixen. In this block though this meant that the other swing found her shoulder. The strike hard and painful, the hand with the sonic blade was as such less mobile. Still useable but not likely to see any rotation higher up.

"You don't seem all that lethal little flower." The assassin remarked taunting of what she figured might become a new member in time. The Lotus swung her blade down as she lifted one leg up briefly. The staff hit the sword before it hit the shin. Pain was there but bearable, while the other leg came back down seeking to hold the weapon in place. Vocal's legs would be a vice as the next attacks came.

The first a simple upward slash looked to split open the jugular and chin. The reach of the staff was better the sword might not get as close because of this, not going as deep as desired. This would be followed though by the scream of sound once more looking to expand the wound. In addition to this the hand with a radiating violet blade jabbed into the subway train. Meaningless at first, then though the window at Lily's right would explode a shower of glass shards sent her way.
Car One & Two Asuka and Haruka

The noir lotus lands and watches as the man catches himself with the power of magnets. Clever use of abilities and to the obsidian flower a disappointment. Of course she knew why Asuka provided power to herself for this fight, but to Haruka the dependence on extra abilities would never sit all that well with her. Skill mattered more, even if superhuman it should she felt be the extension not the focus. Where so many were likely inspired by the metal being from the masked killer was only two words. "You're boring."

Quickly the noir lotus dropped into the train but not at the large foe. Simply channeling all that strength unto the train car. It was going to keep going but that didn't mean it was going to be unbreakable. The front of the car split open and crumpled up until it was just pieces falling off the subway track. The lotus gripping onto the back of the car closer to the second. The train would keep going at its pace, but it wasn't as crowded so no reason not to break it. Try and leave the chrome dome left with nothing to stand on.

"He's already gone home I imagine. What good is stopping the villain if you just leave them unconscious on the side of the road?" Asuka would ask while looking down from the top of what remained of the front car. "You should pack up TE. Chase after the scary ninjas when you've a better grasp on the situation. Trains with a bunch of passengers and idiots for help isn't doing you any favors." The cast of opponents had been making quite the mess but it wasn't exactly knocking a bunch of the clan out of commission.

In those red eyes of Haruka's though was someone who like so many others liked the fight. The challenge deserved perhaps a better theatric end then this simple escapade. So this was the offer to go home if not already being ran over by the train. Otherwise he was still up against the two leaders of the cult on a stage that other then magnet assistance wasn't really built for the foe.

Why did this ninja have to be so damn fast? It was nearly impossible for Lily to get a strike in. Her brow furrowed as her weapons clashed against Vocal's, the damage being reduced or outright denied. She did allow herself a small smirk as she felt a solid impact against the shoulder. Attacks from that side and above might have a better shot at landing. Lily's satisfaction was short-lived, however, as Vocal managed to trap her staff between her legs and taunted her.

"Oh, you want to get freaky?" Lily said in mock surprise. "Alright then. Safeword's 'Juniper'."

The bo staff transformed in Lily's hands, becoming more carved and elegant as a single-edged blade sprouted from either end of the staff. Lily yanked hard on her new double-bladed naginata, attempting to yank it free from Vocal's grip and slice her leg on the way out. She danced backwards, almost managing to escape the slash of the blade. A hairline slice appeared running from her clavicle to her chin, followed by that damn screaming noise which ripped open the wound, causing Lily to cough up a spurt of blood onto the floor as the window next to her exploded. She raised her new arm to cover her face, glass embedding itself deep in the blue appendage, causing a grimace of pain to stain Lily's features.

"My turn." She growled before lashing out with the naginata, swinging one end around to slash at the violet ninja's throat before bringing the other end forward, attempting to bury it in her stomach before swinging the staff up and around to bite into the already-damaged shoulder. Lily had created a weak point, and she'd be damned if she didn't exploit the hell out of it.
