There was a bustle of laughter from somewhere within the house "Of course not! I value my life after all," he called out in reply. He returned to the living room moments later, lingering in the entryway with his hands tucked into his pockets. He watched her for a moment, a small smile resting on his lips. He shifted his attention to the various pieces of artwork scattered about and he chuckled sheepishly. "I wouldn't call it hoarding..." he grinned. Perhaps he made more art than what was healthy but how else was he to occupy his time, his thoughts, for fear they would overwhelm them if he lingered on them too long. He would throw out some of the artwork eventually, as not all of it he could proudly claim as artwork. He wouldn't deny he had gotten good at art over the years they've lived here.

Just as Crypt was about to make a break for it, she beat him to the punch. Pyra took off towards the hotel, leaving him in a quiet fit of laughter. He chased after her "Now who's cheating?" he replied, being careful not to be too loud for fear of attracting unwanted attention. He raced after her, trailing just a little behind.

Mathias chuckled and he leaned down, pressing a brief kiss to her temple. "Yeah, yeah..." he muttered with a small laugh. He withdrew from her and disappeared somewhere into the house to occupy his time. Doing his best to avoid cleaning the house over again for what was probably the fourth time that day alone.

Lucy shook her head, glancing at him as he returned to the livingroom. He knew well to take great care when it came to the things she adored, just as she did for him. Even if he did not like all of his art she was still very careful with it since it was all wonderful to her. One could tell just how much he's improved since he started by looking at it, he was a talented artist. If only he had a little more faith in himself. "I would, it has taken over the house. I'm almost afraid to look in any of the other rooms." She told him, looking completely serious but she was still only teasing. After all she did have a plan to get this out of here while still allowing him to keep it all. When he went to bed she would probably write a quick note and send it out so that the right people could get started on it as soon as possible. "Do we still have a bed? Will I have to sleep on my couch?" For now she would enjoy her time at home, give her husband a little well deserved attention and rest her brain.

Pyra scoffed, leaping over a branch that had fallen into the road at some point. Nature was either trying to help him out or a tree had given up on one if its limbs recently. "Oh come now, do not act innocent with me. I saw that smirk of yours." She waved her finger in the air by her shoulder where he could see it, indicating that she was scolding him. He tried and she had to give him an A for effort, but she wasn't to be fooled by his little charms. Her husband was a scoundrel, but she meant that in a loving way. She smiled to herself, seeing the glass doors to hotel come into view with relief. They would make it back in time.

Airic chuckled "The rest of the house is safe...I think," he grinned sheepishly. His gaze shifted towards the clutter of artworks and he sighed a little. He liked to think his brother would've loved to pick up art as a hobby, Nicky had such a knack for creative things. This thought faded away almost as soon as it had appeared, his gaze lifted to Lucy. "No my dear, the bedroom is art free..." he laughed and strode forward. He slipped his arms around her waist, pulling her close. "You need to get washed up, eat, and then you can get some sleep..." he said with a playful sternness. As much as he wanted to keep her within arms reach at all times, he did need to ensure she got properly taken care of. He reached up to trace her cheekbone with his thumb, smiling softly. "Absolutely dazzling..." he murmured.

Crypt grinned "Making quick accusations!" he replied, swiftly avoiding the branch and coming up alongside her. Only a mere step or two behind, a warm smile played across his lips. His gaze lifted up to the hotel, a sense of relief washing over him. He would feel better once they were out of sight of the public eye.

"That doesn't sound too reassuring." Lucy muttered, shifting on her feet as if she were hesitant to believe him. Even if he had made a huge mess she wouldn't be upset, some rooms still needed to be painted and organized. Now that she was thinking about it maybe they could turn one of them into an office for her so she could work from home more instead of going into the office every single day. They turned one into a studio for him so it shouldn't be that hard. Before she could mention it however she found a pair of arms going around her, her husband's 'stern' voice in her ear. "There's no time for cleanliness or rest if I have to inspect every inch of this house for art messes." It was like she was still in work mode although this time it was just pretend, she had a lot of time to make up for and she did find teasing her husband to be relaxing. He should be used to it by now, but she did adore the more affectionate times of their marriage too. "You're trying to distract me from important things here..."

"I know you are, it isn't nice. Making you sleep down on the floor sounds more attractive by the second." Pyra smirked, peering at him from the corner of her eye. He always had a ton of tricks up his sleeve so she didn't trust him. Once she saw a moment of opportunity she blew him a kiss and kicked it into high gear, making a beeline for the sidewalk near the side of the hotel. It was as good a finish line as any, and quite frankly she didn't want to catch the attention of anyone who may be coming out of their rooms should there be anyone moving about now if they ran through the main area to get to their room.

[Had to edit Pyra's post, forgot the layout of hotel they're staying at. U shaped Icy, U shaaaaped. XD]

"No, no hush, no need to worry about the art messes," Airic protested, swaying them side to side lightly. He chuckled and pressed a small kiss against her cheek "Just uh...pretend this house is completely clean and the art is all put away nice and neat..." He offered. He pursed his lips and shrugged "I'll admit I am certainly trying to distract you, but it's for the greater good!" he laughed and spun them around. Even if he didn't get to see her as much as he would like, it was these small moments that made every moment away from her worth it in the end. She was his savior for he was certain that without her he would've stayed in the remains of the Fallen City until he withered away. She gave his life a new purpose, a new meaning.

Crypt gaped at her "Oh is that so?" he replied. Yet before he could pull ahead she kicked off in a blur, she was always the quicker one. He laughed and chased after her, though she would beat him by a long shot this time. He felt better as they reached the sidewalk of the hotel and towards the doors that would lead them in. He could hear the shifting of air as people began to stir, they made it back to the hotel at precisely the right time. Now it was ensuring they made it to the room without being noticed, which he didn't think would be too difficult.

(Psh glad you remember the layout. I didn't even think about the layout of the building. XD )

"You expect me to ignore it...how?" Lucy glanced around the livingroom with one eyebrow raised. It was everywhere, it was a miracle that he indeed hadn't gotten it on her couch. It was clear she wasn't quite ready to give up this argument just yet, moving to pull away from him when he spun them around. He was persistent in trying to distract her she would give him that, but one couldn't be a great Leader if they allowed themselves to be easily distracted. "Greater good? As in? Trying to make sure I don't see that you made a mess of something I cherish greatly?" She narrowed her eyes as if scrutinizing him. He used to be so stern before they were a couple, she couldn't imagine him acting this silly before but she didn't hate the change. It proved that people were always growing, change was imminent. "Far too late for that I'm afraid, I noticed it when you first walked into my office." If it wasn't clear by now she was talking about him, reaching out to wipe some charcoal off of his nose and holding her fingers up for him to see. "I can't very well leave this precious piece messy."

Pyra didn't answer, smirking as the sidewalk grew closer with every step. The two story hotel loomed over her as she began to slow down, her left foot hitting the cement first and then the other. Their room was on the outside of the u shaped building, Kya had wanted to make sure the front desk couldn't see them but there was still plenty of opportunity for someone to see them. They weren't the only guests here and she could hear a few of them stirring now, ducking behind a group of tall bushes should anyone peer out of their windows. None of the curtains moved, but she would prefer to be as safe as possible. Her gaze moved back to where Crypt was, she wouldn't move any further without him. "Sheesh, I could run another lap with how slow you are..."she muttered seemingly to herself, but she knew that he would hear her perfectly.

[I'm terrible at remembering building details, but I'm trying to get better at that! XD]

Airic was doing his very best to distract her, yet she was far better at maintaining focus on the 'issue' at hand. "Ignore it by...pretending it doesn't exist!" he offered. He continued to sway them in small circles, a sort of subtle dance to a tune of music unheard. He wrinkled his nose a little as she swiped his nose, his gaze settled on the black charcoal. He laughed sheepishly "Oh..." he looked at her again and grinned "I did try to clean up a little before I went to see you. Must've missed a spot." Which was an understatement given he had various marks of charcoal and a string of paint in his hair. Sometimes he got a little to into his art he hardly became aware that with every wipe of his brow he smeared some sort of art supply across it. "Perhaps I need a good shower then," he laughed.

Crypt landed on the sidewalk not long after she, smirking faintly. She beat him...but he wasn't all that surprised. He grinned and knelt down behind the bushes alongside her. He gawked at her "How terribly cruel of you to say," he whispered in return. His gaze settled on the hotel and he took a deep breath, now came the tricky part. They had to get to their room without being seen...easier said than done. He could here the other residents beginning to stir and he wondered just how long they had before the city was blooming with life again. "Ready?" he said softly, his gaze shifted to his wife. He smiled lightly, sneaking around the city certainly wasn't the life he wanted for her, but he couldn't deny it was kind of fun at times.

(Psh doing better than me. XD I applaud you.)

Lucy rolled her eyes, a playful action as she wiped the charcoal off onto the skirt of her deep purple dress. It would need to be washed anyway so she wasn't too bothered by making a mess of it. Charcoal wasn't too difficult to get out, thankfully. "You know I can't do that." She smirked, running her fingers through his hair only to come back with even more charcoal all over her hand. How could she ever possibly ignore this? "Huh. This looks like more than a spot to me." How he even managed to get it in his hair she would never understand, sometimes though she thought he simply dipped his hair into the charcoal and used it as a brush. A ridiculous thought, but this wouldn't be the first time that this has happened and she knew very well that it wouldn't be the last. A sigh left her lips as she continued to sway with him, squinting her eyes ever so slightly. "You are much messier than I am so I guess you'll have to shower first, we can't very well take one together." Well they could, they were married, but she was honestly was having so much fun in teasing him.

Pyra glanced at him, a soft smile curling at her pale lips. "Never as cruel as my vicious husband." She muttered, watching the hotel closely. One of the doors on the second floor opened and a figure stepped out, but they weren't looking in their direction. Something seemed familiar about the figure but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Perhaps if she got a look at their face, but she wasn't going to risk their safety over a tiny feeling that may mean nothing at all. Her pink gaze shifted over to Crypt and she nodded, she was as ready as she could be. They've done this a thousand times before and she had to admit that there was something thrilling about it. "We might have better luck staying on the outside of the hotel..."she mentioned, pointing out the figure who was now leaning against the railing and staring out into space.

[Well I try. XD Thank you thank you. *bows*]

[As promised, here is Ellie. (:]

Ellie didn't know how long she stood there staring at the brightening sky. It was a risk being out during the daytime, but she couldn't very well survive the night. Most places didn't stay open and she hated how quiet everything was. It left her to her own thoughts and that wasn't always the best thing for her. Especially lately. Kai's and her last conversation kept repeating in her head and though she still felt hesitant about it she knew that he was right. As much as she hated to admit it right now he was right. Where to even begin looking though? She knew she couldn't go into the main part of the city, not if she wanted to avoid everyone who knew her face. They knew she was missing, she knew that at least her family was searching for her and though it hurt to worry them so much she knew it was for the best for now. She had so many things to figure out... After a few minutes longer she pushed off the railing and made her way towards the stairs on the far end of the hotel, they were the closest to her room.

Airic looked at her hand as she pulled it away from his hair, he grinned sheepishly. "Alright..." he began "I'll admit it's a little more than just a spot." He spun them around again and laughed, he wished he could explain how he managed to get charcoal in his hair but really he might as well have gone swimming in the stuff. He listened to her talk and he pursed his lips disappointedly "Oof harsh," he replied. A grin slipped across his lips "then again...probably for the best. I can imagine the art supply is just going to get everywhere the moment it touches the water," he admitted. He leaned forward and lightly nuzzled her "Hmph but what have I done to deserve such a cruel teasing?" he muttered. Teasing each other was just how they were, it was always how they were, and he couldn't help but love it.

Crypt peered back at her with a grin, a soft chuckle escaped his lips. "I would have to argue with that," he muttered in return. He peered up at the hotel, following her gesture. His gaze settled on the figure but he didn't think about them much other than as someone to avoid. Their identity was hardly important. "Agreed..." he said softly watching the figure intently. People were certainly beginning to stir, they didn't have much time left. "Lead the way, my love..." he murmured, looking back at Pyra with a small smirk.

(Lol XD )

(Awe, yay! Ellie! Guess I'll post for Luka. My sweet blind boy, I love him so much. XD)

Luka had woken up bright and early that morning, something that wasn't all that uncommon for him. He was disoriented at first, not sure where he was. The smell of the room was unfamiliar, the feel of the cool air was different, it took a moment to register where he was. He traveled around a lot so it wasn't rare for him to wake up somewhere new. Yet it was still jarring every time. The only thing that settled his racing heart was the warm arm that curled around his stomach, the familiar warmth along his back. He turned his head a little as if to peer over his shoulder, though of course he could nothing. Yet it made feeling Leo's presence easier. They had been separated for some time seeing as though Luka traveled and Leo had found a home here, on the outskirts of the city. Finding him again was a sweet reunion yet something was still driving Luka towards the inner parts of the city. He could feel it like a tug of his heart, an urge beckoning him. Perhaps that is what woke up him. Perhaps that force is what made him slip out of bed unnoticed and tug on a t-shirt and coat. Perhaps it was that very urge that drove him into the city for an early morning stroll in hopes of finding whatever it was that nagged at him like an itch he couldn't scratch.

Lucy couldn't help but smile at his silly ways, once more reminding her of just how much he had changed since before they were together. Even when she had been a child he had never been quite this silly, but she didn't hate it. If anything it told her that he was happy. Well that and the constant spins. "Oh I'm sure it will get all over the shower, but I'm also sure I could manage to get clean somehow. It would just take a bit more work." She sighed, clearly fighting back a laugh as she studied his features, before he nuzzled her and thus hid his face. He was quite handsome, even with the charcoal strewn about his skin and hair. It somehow even added to his looks though his looks had been the last thing that drew her to him all those years ago. "Must I really explain that? I'm sure the mess you made of yourself is explanation enough. You simply make it too easy."

"I'm sure you would..."she replied under her breath, edging her way towards the back of the building. There were rooms on both sides, but as far as she could tell from the night before not too many were staying here. This likely wasn't the only hotel they had in a city of this magnitude and this one was a little more hidden, it was no wonder Kya had chosen it. Pyra shook her head and returned her focus to the task at hand, using the cover of the tress and bushes to keep them fairly hidden. Their backs were exposed, but she trusted Crypt enough to keep and eye on that as she guided them around the hotel. There was more movement and every sound had her on her toes, but once she got to the corner of the building she felt a little more calm. They were by no means in the clear, but from here on out they didn't have a street behind them. Just other buildings.

[Oh sheesh, Leo sneaking out. His mother is not going to be happy. XD You guess??? XD]

Ellie still had her doubts, they lingered in the back of her mind like an annoying buzz that told her to turn right back around and go back to her room. She had to try for Kai's sake, he would just drag her back to her limbo world otherwise...and yet she couldn't help it. Her mind had a mind of its own. Who's to say he's even still here...it had been a few days since she first ran into him, at least she thought so. It was all a blur and most of her time was spent sitting in a chair staring at the wall, avoiding the outside world and thinking about what Kai told her, asked of her. Time hadn't registered to her, but she knew that it hadn't been so long that she needed to feed. Or maybe she was simply trying to ignore that too. She shook her head, pulling the hood of her black hoodie over her signature snowy white hair and face as she walked seemingly nowhere. Though she would be avoiding the busiest places of the city she still didn't want to run the risk of anyone recognizing her. Breathe...relax...
