Myo stretched as it was her turn. She stepped out onto the field, her tail sliding along the gravel before turning into a dark, opaque smoke which traveled up her slim body. The assigned uniform ripped on her back, and bat wings began forming from the mist, spreading wide with a length of 4 metres as she stretched them as well, their sharp ends reflecting the sunshine. Her eyes turned a dark shade of amethyst, the scent of blood filling her nostrils due to Sei’s previous usage of the obstacle course. It made the vampirish girl fussy to be surrounded by it. My god, she wanted to try it.. So. Bad. Her pupils dilated visibly as she began looking around hurriedly. She retrieved a small, unseeming lollipop from her pocket. It was dark red, reminiscent of a delicious, ripe cherry. While it tasted sugary sweet to her however, everyone else would consider it bitter, iron-y. The candied blood filled her mouth slowly as her saliva caused the lollipop to dissolve in her mouth. Her dark wings fluttered a bit as she warmed them up, waiting for the signal. With this piece of candy, maybe she could remain composed despite the lovely scent wafting through the air.

Go.

Myo leapt off the ground smoothly, taking flight immediately as she shot upwards. Leaving any impression after another flight-quirk student had gone up before her was certainly a challenge. She easily could have skipped over the islands, even flying between a couple of them just to demonstrate her flying skills. There wasn’t much to demonstrate here - or so she thought, before realising her specialty.. While her eyes weren't the best, her echolocation certainly did the work! Small, quick chirps and clicks escaped her pink lips, creating a picture of the islands and then the robots in front of her eyes. She decided to close her eyes fully, letting the sounds around her guide her through the obstacles, mastering avoiding them easily. Next stop? The robots. She wasn't exactly equipped with the strongest of weapons, but she certainly made up with pure skill and speed. She turned into a blur of black, lilac and green as she circled around the 3 bots, creating deep gashes all around them before they slowly began to fall into smaller pieces. She wasn't amazing against machinery, so she had to opt for the more vulnerable hard silicon parts which reflected a softer noise, making them easier to figure out. The big brown wall was also simple to pass over, as well as the water. Of course she would be able to do these easily.. ground obstacles proved no problem to a flying hero. She knew the guy before her had put value on looking extravagant, but she was trying to get the job done well and show her skills, not some circus tricks.

.. next was the building. Myo decided to return to the ground for this, since this was an evaluation, she might as well show what she can do. The last of the blood dissipated in her mouth and she hummed in delight, her nails growing tougher and sharper by the second, her wings now spreading at 6 meters. While falling debris would prove a problem while flying, it wasn't as much of a problem while climbing. All she needed was to figure out which parts were strong enough to hold her. Another chirp left her mouth and off she went, clinging to the wall and climbing it quite easily, her wings supporting her movement as she ascended in a rather fast manner. After half a minute or so she reached the window, crawling insideal and retrieving the dummy. Myo approached the window again, her back facing it as her wings wrapped around herself and the dummy she was holding to her chest, protecting the two as she crashed out of the window with it, falling for a few seconds before her wings parted, catching Myo and the dummy in mid air as softly as possible, letting her glide the rest of the way down. Myo placed it down nearly soundlessly as she finally was close enough to the mat to let the dummy go without causing much or any impact.

Myo bit onto the remnants of the lollipop, taking out the small stick it left behind and putting it into her pocket, waiting for Mrs Vaughn's Ok to go before leaving to enter the room the others before her had gone to. She thought her performance was okay.. definitely quicker than the show-off's, while still being able to display some of her skills.
Love, Cherry!

Tom was deep in thought on the situation that had occurred naught but a few minutes ago. Hopefully the two students would eventually be able to get along enough not to fight between themselves. Everyone will be spending a lot of time together, after all. Still lost in his thoughts, Tom barely noticed the girl walk beside him before she spoke. Slightly surprised, Tom turned towards her, "Yeah, it kinda was. It happened so suddenly, too." Giving a small laugh and scratching the back of his head, he continued, "Hopefully the rest of the school year doesn't turn out the same way!"

Tom, turned his gaze back to the course, watching the bat-like student fly through the air. "All of our classmates seem really strong, huh? So far no one's had any trouble with the robots. I guess that just means we're sure to be heroes, right?" Shaking his head, he turned back to the girl beside him. The young man extended his hand out to the girl with a smile, "Anyways, the name's Tom, nice to meet you."

Iris made quite a few notes as Myo the bat girl flew through her course. The initial class notes mentioned her taste for blood and it was clear as she started the lingering scent of blood from Seisei's run affected her. She'd need to be exposed to blood to try to limit this...disaster areas and battles would have an overwhelming scent of blood in the air. If she couldn't control herself around it she could end up hurting someone.

Besides the blood weakness the bat girl displayed excellent form and control. She closed her eyes at one point, displaying her natural echolocation but made Irene curious how much noise would disrupt this ability. She made notes of these and her natural weapons. All in all a promising student.

Mira smiled. "Yeah, it wouldn't be good for future heroes to fight amongst themselves." As she watched the latest student finish the obstacle course, she got a little worried. She listened to the boy speak next to her. He was right. Everyone seemed to be really strong. Hopefully, she wouldn't be one of the few to mess things up.

She looked up when he greeted himself and gently took his hand and shook it. "I'm Mira. And it's nice to meet you too." She looked back at the obstacle course. "I hope I dont fail this." She said, but in more of a whisper-like tone.

Moruith hopped down to the trial area and fucking went. She went stretching, getting her muscles loose in order to get the blood flowing and also giving her time to finalize her game plan. The test was simple. A little demonstration of their abilities to show how they can be utilized outside of combat. Nothing to be nervous about, there wasn't even a grade for it... But that's what bothered the miniature menace. She'd always measured her success based off of the grades she got. It was a great way to see where she would need to improve, but if there were no grades for this test, how was she to know what she needed to improve on? Ah, she could see it now. This was as much a self-evaluation as a demonstration! The girl rubbed her nose and grinned, her sharp, demonic teeth glistening. It was so simple! How had she not thought of this with all the time she had? This was a test for oneself and no one else! Moru hopped up and down, giving the ready signal.

As soon as the signal to go was given, Moruith started off running. When she reached the water she stopped and looked it over. Three islands to get across. Or the water itself.... No. The girl straightened up, thrust her hands down and did her best Metal Man impression as she rocketed herself with the force of her flames. It took mere moments for her to get over the first obstacle, though the bottoms of her pants' legs were singed. This was great! She was making good progress. At this rate, she'd be able to save the dummy in an acceptable time. She was giving herself a time limit, because a safe space in a collapsing building didn't stay safe for long! Now it was time for the giant robots! She had already formulated a plan. She'd barrel through them with a Nether Construct!

As she entered the second area, Moruith could see the level 0 robots that dwarfed her even more than everything else in this world. "Think... Big." The young lady said to herself as she planted her feet. "EM EKIL TI OD YDOBON T'NIA!" She shouted as she was engulfed in Hellfire and a two large fists formed out of Nether Energy. The large fists launched themselves into the robots, each taking about three punches to knock the machines out of commission. After that spectacle, the horned girl was a bit shaky at the knees and continued on her way, unimpeded by the bots but now way more tired than she thought she would be.

It was the third part, the rock climb... She didn't have time for this. The malevolent midget put a hand up, still catching her breath, and blasted the rock wall with green Hellfire, leaving nothing but molten rock and the intense smell of brimstone and sulfur. She jogged on through the charred mess and started to pick up steam again. Then she got to the wave pool. She wasn't very good physically and she knew this. The rope climbing or swimming wouldn't be a very good option for her at all. Instead she started chanting again, becoming engulfed in Hellfire again. "AMUP A FO TRAEH!" She shouted as a ball of Nether Energy formed around her and started rolling around building up speed before it rolled over the water, skipping across the waves until it got to the other side. The construct diminished and revealed a motion sick Moruith. The horned homegirl held her head for hardly a hair's breadth of time before she got back to the trial. Finally, she was at the last obstacle. The crumbling building. It was finally time to save the civilian! All she had to do was... Climb.. There was no way around it, she would have to climb! The maniacal-looking midget moved her minute body to get to climbing. This was by far the most grueling thing for her this entire test. She crawled over rocks and broken glass, getting her hands and knees right scratched up. It took much longer than the other parts of the test for her to reach her objective, the dummy. When Moruith finally got there, she said, "Don't you worry, bud. I gotcha," before she got the dummy onto her back, its fake eyes getting poked by her horns. Once again, the girl chanted, "EMOC OT TEY SRORROH EHT FO GNINNIGEB EHT TSUJ SI SIHT!" summoning a green saucer of Nether Energy to take the two through the marked window and lowered them gently to the mat below. As they reached the mat, her focus gave out from exhaustion and the saucer disappeared, dropping them safely onto the mat. Moruith's head was criss-crossed with veins from the mental strain of maintaining her constructs and using them throughout the test. She lay there beside the dummy for a moment before getting up. She looked up at the observation deck and framed her face with her hands and let off a toothy smile before heading back to the designated gathering area.

Inget folded his hands together and listened closely as Michael explained his situation. He knew what type of kid Wess was and wasn’t surprised when the boy interjected, trying to save his skin. But what did surprise him was how well-spoken he was. Nothing short of Andromeda’s son, I see. He thought to himself. But Inget didn’t care much for the boy’s crude reenactment of the situation. Didn’t make Wess look good at all.

”Mr. Fisium, not to question your association with Money Man, but I’d doubt you’d be very kind to him as he did top your mother recently and made a show of it in her own shop. And regardless if you two are supposed “friends”,” Inget held up air quotations when he said that. The man had been a principal for almost fourth plus years, he had seen almost every type of confrontation you could think of when it came to young kids. Wess wasn’t going to pull the wool over his eyes so easily. But that didn’t mean Michael was getting away with it either. ”You shouldn’t have said a slur when other people are around, joke or not. But, Mr. Newman, using your quirk like that was not only dangerous to you, but your fellow classmates.” Inget wasn’t going to explain as to why it was an endangerment to his classmates to do that, but Wess was a loose cannon.

Inget sighed and leaned back in his chair, creaking as he did. ”First day of school, boys. I’ll have to have Irene “ground” you both. This’ll place you two behind severely, but that’s the punishment you two will pay. Now, what you’ll be doing exactly will be up to Irene, but if I see both of you in my office again the consequences will be worse, understood, boys?” Inget glared at the two, showing that he clearly meant what he meant. He was not going to tolerate Tom-foolery in his school.

Irene closely watched the diminutive student make her way through the course. Her quirk was most impressive though she seemed to tire quickly. Definitely would need training to help with that. Possibly some creativity training assuming she could control what she created as well. All and all a great heroic recruit. Irene made her notes as the student returned and prepared for the next test.

"Mr. Ritterzeug, you're up. Good luck out there. Miss Trevillian you did a great job. Do you need to rest? You seem to have spent quite a bit of energy out there."

Irene asked with concern. It wasn't uncommon for students to push themselves early on to make a good impression, but that didn't make it any less dangerous. Especially considering Irene didn't know the students limits yet. Last thing she wanted was a student exhausting themselves to make pass a test.

Tom raised his eyebrow at the girl he was talking to, Mira, as he found out. She seemed to have a lot of self-doubt as she watched the others. The young man turned his attention back to the other student making her way through the trial. “I don’t think you will.” Tom had his own doubts about his quirk as he watched the others, but he had cleared those with one simple idea. “We all made it this far already, yeah? The last thing we can do is hope for the worst.” With that, he gave a smile to Mira and heeded Miss Vauhgn, making his way to the field.

Up to this point, Tom had watched intently as each student made their way through the course. They were all so unique, and their quirks looked powerful, which only excited the young man more. Everyone’s quirks seemed so strong compared to his, but nevertheless, that wouldn’t stop him from showing off his strengths to the others.

Once Tom made it to the training course, he once again scanned the field. There were a couple of obstacles that he was concerned about, but he’d worry about them once he got there, a general plan already thought out in his head. With that, he took off the shirt and shoes of his gym uniform, tying the arms of the top around his waist, and leaving his shoes at the starting line.

Looking back towards where the rest of the students stood, the aspiring hero gave a thumbs-up to his classmates before he began.

Tom took off as fast as he could towards the floating islands. This would be the hardest obstacle for him, he predicted, as he didn’t really inherit his mother’s superhuman strength. Focusing hard, Tom took a running jump at the first island, taking a brief moment before turning his feet into small rockets to propel himself the rest of the distance and turning them back to normal.

Landing stomach first on the first island, Tom let out a small “oof” as he hit, but quickly corrected himself to keep going. He continued turning his hands and feet into miniature rockets to control what was effectively an enhanced jump before he cleared all of the islands. Wasting no time, Tom was faced with the three huge robots.

Tom familiarized himself with one of these robots during the exam and while he watched the others, but he had never tried using his quirk on one of them. “No time like the present.” Was all he said before running straight towards the closest one, jumping onto the front of it. As his hands and feet touched the mechanical beast, his head began to feel dizzy, his quirk making its way through the mech's systems.

Suddenly, the robot’s eyes turned from red to blue, before it flexed its fingers. Turning towards one of the other three robots, it took a huge right hook at its fellow mech, smashing its head in before following up with a punch straight into its core, knocking it onto its back. The robot with blue eyes gave a thumbs-up to the observation room, before turning its attention to the remaining one. The longer Tom controlled this robot, the more he could feel his insides twisting, but this had to be done.

As the third robot went to send a punch at Tom, on his hands and knees at the base of the first, the blue-eyed bot intercepted it with its own arm, allowing it to be crushed so that the attack didn’t hit the boy controlling it. While the red-eyed one was distracted, the controlled Executor grabbed the other by the arm, and proceeded to desperately head-butt it over and over, effectively smashing its own head along with the other’s. With its last function, it slowly rolled its way to the rock wall, before collapsing over it, its eyes going dark.

Tom didn’t get up at first.

“...God, this sucks…”

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Tom had collapsed on the huge robot for a solid ten seconds before he began to stir. His head felt tangled, but he was still able to get back on his knees. How he felt didn’t matter right now though, since he still had at least two more obstacles to get through. He slowly made it to his feet, before looking at his next obstacle and realizing it didn’t seem like he’d have to worry about the rock wall.

Tom made a steady jog along the newly-made makeshift ramp of the collapsed robot over the rock-wall. The circuitry and pure engineering of the 0-point robots still fresh in his mind from his control over it, he began to feel a bit better, hopping off the extended arm of the robot, which conveniently placed him at his next obstacle. While his prosthetic limb could be made waterproof, Tom decided that he wasn’t in the place to expend extra energy swimming in the wave pool.

Choosing to take the rope route, Tom took a running stride before reaching out to the rope with his prosthetic hand, forming it into a loop with his quirk, which allowed him to slide along the rope. As he felt his prosthetic catch on the rope, Tom’s back opened up, transforming into a small thruster, which took a moment to spark before quickly blasting him to the other side of the pool.

Returning his prosthetic limb back to normal, Tom landed running towards the collapsed building. Transforming his prosthetic arm into more of a shield, Tom quickly scaled his way towards the top, deflecting debris that came his way, and clearing it when it got between him and his goal. Eventually, the young man pulled himself up to the designated platform

Checking over his shoulder, Tom looked to make sure he was clear of the rubble. As he turned back to take a look at his civilian dummy, he found a strange sight.

“Uh… What’re you doing here, DevilMan?”

Kenshi had been munching a granola bar from one of the vending machines inside the school and looked up to see one of the students talking to him. He was sitting on the pile of dummies criss-crossed and smiled, “Oh hey! I wanted to join in on the fun, but fighting would be too much. Soooo, I decided to be one of the dummies!” He threw his arms up, clearly proud of his idea to help him.

Tom took a long, concerned stare at the #9 hero, before shaking himself out of it. He didn’t even want to know how Mr. Man got here between his trial and the small imp’s run through. “So… am I supposed to carry you out of here or…?”

”I mean, you could. That’d make it more convincing since that’s what you guys’ll be doing sooner or later.” Kenshi said, setting the wrapper ablaze in his palm and standing up. He was a tall, lanky guy, even though he could sure as hell throw a punch. ”Okay, carry me!” Kenshi turned around and fell backwards, expecting Thomas to catch him.

Thomas considered letting DevilMan drop to the floor, but decided for the sake of time and the little energy he had left, that he would simply catch the odd hero. “Yeah, I guess you’re right. I hope Ms. Vaughn’ll be alright with this. Mostly for your sake.”

Even though Kenshi had dealt with many villains and whatnot, he had begun to feel quite nervous when Thomas was a bit slow on catching him. He sighed with relief when he finally did catch, but let his body lay limp. ”A little tip: in a situation like this, it’s better to assume that the citizens can’t walk…” Kenshi tapped his chin before speaking again, ”Or something like that! Kehkeh!” He shrugged his shoulders while laughing to himself.

With a sigh, Thomas picked up the lower half of DevilMan, who thankfully didn’t turn out to be all too heavy. Looking around, the young hero-to-be spotted the marked window in the crumbling building. “Don’t blame me if I don’t quite stick this!” Taking an awkward run towards his goal, Thomas dove through the window with DevilMan in his hold. Sucking in his gut and closing his eyes, a small parachute extended from his back.

”AAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEE!!!!” Was all that was heard on the way down from the relatively short jump down. Kenshi had a relatively weak stomach when he wasn’t using his Quirk, so he covered his mouth to hold down his granola bar he had just eaten.

While the parachute didn’t completely hold the weight of the two, the mat at the bottom was more than enough to break the rest of their fall. Releasing his breath, Thomas turned towards the other students with a tired smile, DevilMan still in his arms. “Ta-da!”

”GoOd jOb, KidDo…!” Kenshi said before passing out in his arms.

Irene watched with interest as tom ran the course. His tech based personal enhancement was incredible, though he didn't seem as well versed in his ability. He'd need extra time to get a handle on his power and then creativity training and quick change course to quickly adapt to any situation. As she wrote this she realized there were quite a few students with creation abilities. Be it blood, light, jelly, mechanical pieces, or hellfire, many students could create constructs with their quirk. All the easier to get them joint creativity class and quick construct lessons.

This was when the boy overextended and took control of one of the robots. An impressive feat but one that cost the boy dearly. Instinctively she scanned the boy, determining he wasn't hurt, and saw a devilman reappear at the end of the course. As the student stirred and the pro hero took position as the end course dummy Irene allowed them to continue. When he finished she spoke up.

"Kenshi...finally. Any reason you choose to play dummy for Mr. Ritterzeug? By the way Tom very impressive but you should probably go see the nurse. Miss Glass, get ready to run once the robots are replaced."

Mira felt a bit more reassured at Tom's words. She had made it this far, and there was no way she was gonna do terrible now.

When Mira entered the field, she tried to clear her mind of all her worries. She was the last person, so people were most likely gonna want her to finish soon. As she started the obstacle course, she didnt bother looking down as she jumped across onto the first platform. Better to look ahead than stare down into the pit of potential doom. She almost slipped on the first island, but thankfully she didn't. Carefully, she leapt on the next platform slightly below him, landing with a roll as to not break her ankles. She continued running and jumping across the platforms until she made it to the final platform, jumping back onto solid ground.

Her quirk wasnt really useful for athletic purposes, so thankfully she had trained herself beforehand.

She saw the three giant 0 point robots ahead of her. As her hands began to emit a very light blue green aura, she waved around and shouted at the robots, "Hey, I'm over here!" She ran towards the closest bot. There was no way she would be able to climb past the wall with those robots behind her. Might as well just get rid of them as soon as she can.

As the three robots each moved to try and step on her, a blue green transparent shield appeared above her. As the first one landed its foot on top of the shield, Mira quickly absorbed the force of the attack and pushed it back against the robot, forcibly knocking it down. She repeated the notion twice more and hurried to the rock wall. She quickly reached around to find crevices as she climbed up the wall like a spider, then jumped off the top onto the other side.

The water was next. Swimming wouldn't do her any good, so she got onto the rope and ran across quickly with her arms stretched out to the sides for balance. She wobbled a little, but she made it.

Once at the end of the rope, Mira looked at the building. She started to run up the incline, moving left and right to avoid rubble. Her legs were aching a bit from all the running and climbing, but she endured.

Grabbing the dummy civilian, she jumped through the marked window. She moved her body so that the civilian was on top of her and her body was towards the ground. A blue green semi transparent shield appeared on her back, and a blue green bubble appeared around the civilian. Once they fell on the mat below, the blue green shields vanished on both of them.

Mira stood up from the mat and dusted herself. She smiled to herself as she left the course and entered the observation deck.
