Who here plays nation-states?

Post by The Alt-Rick » Mon Dec 25, 2017 3:50 pm

I think it's actually very good at social political commentary if you just observe it from a meta perspective instead of getting caught up in all the drama and taking the RP way too seriously.

I recently made a country where my premise is "I'm just gonna make everybody miserable and try to spread my disease globally". So call it accelerationism and it's pretty much indistinguishable from anarcho-capitalism lol.

I run the country literally like the movie the dictator.

It's classified as a pure socialist economy where the state runs everything, but it's also highly consumerist and the worst part? Noone is more miserable than me, the supreme leader, who can't even do being a Saturday morning cartoon super villain right and people love it. In the end there is no coups, there is no calls for political reform, people just do their drugs, work their dead-end jobs, and whatever opposition I face quickly becomes absorbed by the gangs and terrorist cells that basically run my country for me. So much so that even when I moved out of my original liberal union I got placed into for this rogue bunch, now the global trade federation thing wants me representing that region. Which is a horrible idea... why would you want my travesty, satire of a nation representing a union of 300 and some states?

So among the members of the union I call it Neo-Gorbachevism lol.

I think they just like the fact I made this the official national anthem. :D

This was a close second with me as Robby Rotten and the current leader of our union as Sportacus lol

I used to be into it. Was really fond of socialist "utopias" that were really hard-right fascist corporatocracies. Loved curtailing human rights and unreigning big business~
Swollen with a mantra that I've stolen from a thief.

I use to play it a lot. Was a great time killer for 5-10 minutes a day. Didn't we use to have an RPF one? I can't remember if we were just talking about it or if we actually did it.
